1.) Describe the term ‘interactive TV’.

Interactive TV is when we can watch TV how we want it and when we want, now the ideas about watching TV on the internet is coming to reality as already today you can download, watch or analyse movies over the internet.

2.) Explain the reasons why interactive TV is now called TV 2.0.

Becuase it is the second generation of life its not anymore only watch it on a television you can watch it on your mobile, computer, playstation, portable dvd player etc.

3.) Outline the positives and negatives of implementing interactive TV.

The Negatives would be an increase of radiation and more over weight problems. The positives are unspeakable as there are too many to say as most of the things are positive like being able to watch it on a portable device eg. ipod.

1.) Explain the purpose of using ‘youtube’ as a source of digital media advertising?

Youtube is advertising becuase it is such a popular web site where millions of people gather watching and displaying their own videos so others can contribute.

2.) Discuss how collaborative media sites such as youtube, myspace and bebo have changed the current boundaries of media such as news, advertising ect.

These sites have taken the audience especially the youth away from the news and newspapers as this is an interactive idea using these sites but they can also be mis leading. The people who have gone to these sites would like to have a change in their life if it be changing from reading to blogging their own ideas.

3.) Provide a link to an advertising commercial on youtube.

1.) Define the term ‘digital media’.

Digital media is a source of multimedia involvements that have been increased in an enormous amount over the last 5-10 years. Some examples of digital media are Myspace, Youtube, Bebo, MSN Messenger and more.

2.) How has digital media evolved over the last 5-10 years?

Digital media has evolved in a great deal since the last 5-10 years due to the functionality of technology which is evolving to become more understanding for youth or elders and the price is starting to drop because it plays a daily part of our lives.
3.) Discuss the reasons why digital newspapers are extremely popular?

Digital newspapers are extremely popular because it allows you to meet knew people and talk to friends where ever they may be.

Individual Assessment Task 3

1.) Define the term ‘moral integrity’

Moral integrity is a  complex and subtle ethical notion which means someone who can make the right descisions all the time for example Jesus.

2.) Describe why Maximillian Kolbe is regarded as a Christian of exemplary moral integrity.

Maximillian Kolbe is regarded as a Christian as he knows when to make the right descisions and how to make the right descisions. Maximillian Kolbe treats everyone equally with rights and all and he chooses no one even rich the same as the poor.

3.) Outline Maximillians ethical actions/principles that he demonstrated in Auschwitz.He sacrificed his own life to save some on elses also he saved a group of jewish people from the Nazi persecution. He was imprisoned in a cell with other people and sang songs and prayers to help them all get through.
4.) Evaluate whether you think he made the right decision and provide research to support your answer. i.e. Catholic teachings.

I believe he made the right decision in saving another persons life as he was a great Christian man and he was like Jesus always making the right choice and doing it for the good of others.

 

 

 

Corrosion Result Changes 8/04/08

There were not many changes in the results from a few weeks ago the only change was the nail in the insilica gel had minor rust on it but all the others stayed the same. i was expecting this to happen because very rarely does know change at all happen if there is something in it.

Journal Entry 7 8/04/08

In todays practical we used many different chemicals such as Litimus blue mixed with a combination of other chemicals to see what would happen and the most common change was colour which is what we were looking for in the practical. Around 2 or 3 times the colour stayed the same but it would have got more clowdy or more specific features which could not be seen with human eyes.

Journal Entry 6 3/04/08

We have completed i think about 6 of 8 practicals and they have gone great receiving almost identical results to what the practical was expected to be. We have always worn our safety gear in which i think the safety goggles are most important because they are like a shield for your eyes. I have enjoyed all the practicales so far and look forward to doing more with a successful mark next to them.

Project Brief Case 8

1. How is the research going?

we have all completed our research exept for 1 person who was away a few times. We have all had an allocated research topic for a certain topic on the Britannica sheet of paper. we have detailed our research with full references and full detail of the subject topic.

2. What do you know about imovie? What other multimedia possibilities have you considered for your presentation?

I have thought of using different multimedia programs like windows movie maker but i and the group think imovie has a great deal of detail so we are most likely going to use imoie.

 

Journal Entry 8

Scenario 1: You are on a train coming home from a day at the beach. The train stops at a station and a group a youths get on the train and start bashing an elderly ethnic man. You notice people getting off the train. 
 Discuss what you would do in this situation.

I would first call the cops and report this group as i cannot take it in my own hands but i would try settle the group down so the elderly man doesnt get more injured then he already is.

 Scenario 2: You get a message from a girl that you are interested asking you to come over her house. When you get there a number of her friends are present and they say they are bored. One of them promotes the idea of going for a walk and causing a riot. At first you tell them “No way”. However, the girl you like states that “she will like you more if you go”.Discuss what you would do in this situation.

I would say to the girl that if this is what you want me to do then im not going to do it as i am moral mature and ino what descision to make especially if my conscience is informed with my thoughts.
