2.) Evaluate how the actions of the Dalai Lama in regard to the riots in Tibet would be regarded as exemplary moral integrity.

The reason this action by the Dalai Lama leader is regarded as moral integrity is because he has stood down from his leading position of the people of Tibet. This was a brave decision by the Dalai Lama leader as he has stopped deaths and riots in Tibet. This is a true meaning of moral integrity giving up what you enjoy so much for the lives of others.

Youtube is advertising becuase it is such a popular web site where millions of people gather watching and displaying their own videos so others can contribute.

These sites have taken the audience especially the youth away from the news and newspapers as this is an interactive idea using these sites but they can also be mis leading. The people who have gone to these sites would like to have a change in their life if it be changing from reading to blogging their own ideas.

2.) How has digital media evolved over the last 5-10 years?

Digital media has evolved in a great deal since the last 5-10 years due to the functionality of technology which is evolving to become more understanding for youth or elders and the price is starting to drop because it plays a daily part of our lives.
3.) Discuss the reasons why digital newspapers are extremely popular?

Digital newspapers are extremely popular because it allows you to meet knew people and talk to friends where ever they may be.

1.) Define the term ‘moral integrity’

Moral integrity is a  complex and subtle ethical notion which means someone who can make the right descisions all the time for example Jesus.

2.) Describe why Maximillian Kolbe is regarded as a Christian of exemplary moral integrity.

Maximillian Kolbe is regarded as a Christian as he knows when to make the right descisions and how to make the right descisions. Maximillian Kolbe treats everyone equally with rights and all and he chooses no one even rich the same as the poor.

3.) Outline Maximillians ethical actions/principles that he demonstrated in Auschwitz. He sacrificed his own life to save some on elses also he saved a group of jewish people from the Nazi persecution. I believe he made the right decision in saving another persons life as he was a great Christian man and he was like Jesus always making the right choice and doing it for the good of others.

Scenario 1: You are on a train coming home from a day at the beach. The train stops at a station and a group a youths get on the train and start bashing an elderly ethnic man. You notice people getting off the train.
Discuss what you would do in this situation.

I would first call the cops and report this group as i cannot take it in my own hands but i would try settle the group down so the elderly man doesnt get more injured then he already is.

Scenario 2: You get a message from a girl that you are interested asking you to come over her house. When you get there a number of her friends are present and they say they are bored. One of them promotes the idea of going for a walk and causing a riot. At first you tell them “No way”. However, the girl you like states that “she will like you more if you go”.Discuss what you would do in this situation.

I would say to the girl that if this is what you want me to do then im not going to do it as i am moral mature and ino what descision to make especially if my conscience is informed with my thoughts.

1.) Define the term “Moral Maturity”

I would define moral maturity in the way that it could also be known as moral responsibility which is choosing the right choice weather it suites you or not. for example, if there is a mobile in a bag and you want it you have a choice to take it or not to take it. If you are mature enough the right move would be to leave it as it is unlawful and it is called stealing.

3.) Identify the differences between ‘morality’ and ‘immorality’.Morality is when you have a code of conduct which is like right or wrong this is so you can make a wise descision that you will not be regreting for the rest of your life.

Imorality is when you have no code of conduct so in that case when yu come upon a time of stealing something or doing something againsnt the law you will most probably choose the wrong descision because you would be unaware of the right descision to make.

You are required to create a job advertisement which articulates the role and responsibilities of an editor. The job advertisement should address the following minimum criteria:

1.) Role Description

Newspaper editors have overall responsibility for the quality, accuracy and tone of their publication, or a section within it. Their main responsibilities may include:

  • deciding on which stories to run
  • interviewing and writing
  • editing other writers’ work
  • designing layout
  • recruiting and training
  • meeting distribution and advertising targets.

Most of the work is done at a computer. A newspaper editor works closely with the editorial team, reporters, advertising staff, printers and publishers to meet deadlines. It can be a highly pressured job.

Newspaper editors generally work around 40 hours a week. They often work into the evening and may work some weekends. If a big story breaks, they could be expected to cover it, even on a day off. The work is office based.

A newspaper editor needs to:

  • have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • be creative with a good command of English
  • have good organisational and time-management skills
  • be able to remain calm under pressure
  • be able to work to deadlines
  • be flexible and adaptable
  • have an interest in current affairs.

4.) Discuss how you would feel if the Australian government banned the Internet. What privileges would you lose? (2 Paragraphs)

I would be very angry if the Australian government banned the internet because we wouldn’t be able to undertake PBL and use the good information and sources on the internet. We wouldn’t know as much or be as focused because we would have to read and find information by hunting for it where as the internet is a great idea because if you need to quickly check something you can just go on Google type what you need and look for a descent site and you’ve got it.

Many privileges would be lost like motivation, games, work, social etc.

These subjects play a big part in my life and you need the internet to find research or to talk to family or friends from different places around the world or doing work from home and posting it on word press  so the teachers can check it and even send messages telling you where you have gone wrong.
