    in todays lesson we looked at how to write the minutes and now have to go home and upload it.

    this lesson was a success as we actually learnt something useful we can use in the real world.

    we have each been allocated a task in our group and have to make some progress on it so we are able to supply that for eachother and give eachother the information in order for each to undertake this project.

  2. JOURNAL 1

    in this year i would like to learn the most i can about teamwork trust and technology like how to set up a wordpress account which i have accomplished within a few days.

    i am really looking forward to starting this year in the new PBL system undertaking at Parra Marist High year 9.

    in this subject social studies it is combined with geography, history and english using all the techniques to the full use to introduce better sources for different parts of the lesson like for example one teacher might be better at geography so he or she can say that part of the class.

    i think we will be learning how to be able to trust the people in our environment at school and see if they are really trustworthy as we all think of our friends.

    WHAT DID YOU LEARN?

    i learnt that you cannot always trust the ones that you favour and admire example friends.

    WHAT KEY TERMS HAVE YOU LEARNT?

    Be cautious in life.
    Take minimum risks.
    Dont trust anyone with your life.

    WHY IS TRUST AND TEAMWORK SO IMPORTANT?

    Trust and teamwork is so important because when you are in the real world you need to be able to work and trust eachother and give eachother full support and help one another as a team would do.

    WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO ACHIEVE THROUGH PBL?

    I want to learn to trust and work with one another. i hope to achieve through PBL more skills that we will need and use later in life and techniques that i dont know about or how to use them.

    I think this lesson we will be learning how to work together and teach also learn from one another.

    I also think we will be undertaking an assessment task to proceed and ensure we give our best effort as this is our first time as well as the teachers with PBL.

    We learnt this lesson how to fill a contract in and how to write the minutes for a meeting which is very helpful as none of us knew this before this lesson.

    In this lesson we were also allocated our groups and we were allowed to meet with our group and talk and see what we have in common and what we need to work on but we got on great.

    In todays lesson we were given our task rubric in order to go fourth and sort out what each of us were going to do so we had a job each and it was fair.

    We also went into our groups and started some basic research for our project sso we could make questions for each of us to answer them.

    In todays lesson i learnt quite abit like the research is a crucial area of this project and everything that we do counts.

  7. What significant moment in Indigenous History occurs this week?

    The significant history is reoccuring this week when Kevin Rudd and the Australian people are saying sorry to the original owners of the land which are the aborigines.

    How may you use this as supplementary material?

    I can use this knew bit of history as a supplementary material in my project as evidence.

    What is your aim for this lesson?

    My aim for this lesson to find research that can help us all to put it together and cretique it down to the best bits of information then go and find some more.

  8. Are you staisfied with the groups progress so far?

    so far i am pretty pleased with our teams progress as i am TEAM MARSHALL AND I GIVE THE ORDERS FOR THE GROUP.

    Who is not pulling their weight?

    we could all put in more effort but as this is our first time we are all doing fine with pulling our own weight.
